Ukraine Says Russian Rocket Struck Close to Thermal energy station
Ukraine's thermal power administrator said Monday a Russian rocket struck close to a thermal energy station in southern Ukraine.
Energoatom said in a proclamation the rocket landed 300 meters from the Pivdennoukrainsk Thermal energy station yet didn't harm its reactors.
The strike caused harm close by structures, Energoatom said.
The Pivdennoukrainsk plant is Ukraine's second-biggest thermal energy station. The biggest, the Zaporizhzhia Thermal energy station, has been closed down since early September following shelling that Russia and Ukraine have accused on one another.
