Elon Musk gave a blow to Ukraine, will no longer provide internet service for military action

The SpaceX company has taken measures to prevent the Ukrainian military from using Starlink satellite technology.  This disclosure has been made by the chairman of the SpaceX company himself.  According to experts, this decision of the SpaceX company has dealt a major blow to Ukraine's war plan.  The use of Starlink satellite technology is essential for Ukraine's drones in its ongoing war against Russia, while drone warfare remains Ukraine's main weapon.

SpaceX is billionaire Elon Musk's company, which provides internet service through its Starlink satellite.  When the war started in Ukraine last year, Musk had announced to provide this service for free to Ukrainians.  Since then this service has been of special importance to Ukraine.

SpaceX Company President Gwynne Shotwell has said that there are measures by which Starlink's capacity can be limited.  There are measures that can be taken and we have done that.  Shotwell said that Starlink was never intended to be used for military purposes.  Initially, the company could not predict to what extent the Ukrainian forces would use this technology.

According to observers, Shotwell's announcement reaffirms that Enel Musk has been uncomfortable with the use of Starlink for military purposes in Ukraine. Shotwell said that Starlink services were provided so that banks, hospitals, etc. could continue to operate in Ukraine and people could stay in touch with their families. He said that we now know that the army is using it. While it was never our intention to use it for offensive purposes.

An analysis by the American TV channel CNN pointed out that the rift between Elon Musk and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky had been brewing since last October. Then Musk presented a peace plan on his behalf to end the war. In a Twitter message, he suggested that Ukraine give up its claim on Crimea and agree to give Luhansk and Donetsk to Russia. Zelensky reacted strongly to this.

According to CNN, Elon Musk had demanded from the US Defense Ministry Pentagon before that incident to pay SpaceX in exchange for the use of Starlink in Ukraine. As the controversy erupted, a Pentagon official told CNN that Musk was presenting himself as a hero, while turning the Ukraine war into an opportunity to make money.

Reacting strongly to this, Musk had claimed that he was providing all services free of cost in Ukraine. Now Musk's company has made it clear that these services will be provided only for civilian purposes.
